Site Changes

I know this blog is still in its fetal stages, but I just can't resist the urge to fool around with some of the templates, layouts and sidebar widgets.
If you are viewing this site in a browser you will notice that there have been some dramatic changes since last week:
- All the banner and AdSense ads are gone. It was taking away from the look and load time of the site. I couldn't stand it. That isn't to say that I will never put banners or targeted AdSense ads on this site, but the traffic numbers are still too small to worry about it, it is an eyesore, and ads are not the primary focus of the blog.
- The template changed from that dark blue/green one to the white one you seen now. I think it is much cleaner looking
- Sidebar is on the left hand side of the page. I hated having the sidebar on the right hand side of the page. When people visit any page their first gaze is the top left just like reading a book. To this end, I want a visitor to be able to see the blog name and then gather the maximum amount of info about me and the blog in one gaze down the page. I think I have maximized this by including my 2007 goals first, then the subscription and demographic info follows that.
- Finally, when you view the page with different browser sizes it automatically adjusts the contents of the blog to optimally display in your browser.
