How Do You Manage Your Ideas?

Sometimes I feel like the guy in this picture!

Over the past couple of days, I haven't been getting to sleep till after midnight. I just lay in bed with so many ideas to think about, write about and read about in my RSS reader. I know that if I continue down my current path, I will burn out. I've done it before. I currently have forty-five feeds coming into my reader - so there is plenty of content to check out. Not all of it is personal finance related, but broadly touches the topics of leadership, entrepreneurship, venture capital and recent news. I also read the Atlantic Monthly, which is mainly political and world-news driven. So with all this content consumption, I am having trouble managing ideas for posts in a coherent and organized way.

I am currently using Customized Google Homepage as my main information dashboard. I am running Remember the Milk (good review of this free service here) as my main task list organizer and I currently have a blogging list. This list obviously contains things that are related to this blog like post ideas and site improvements. However this service does not really serve my needs when it comes to mind-mapping and outlining posts or series of posts that I intend to write.

If anyone has any imput on what works for them I would greatly appreciate it. Don't let me become that guy!
